The Victorian District represents workers in metalliferous mines and Victoria’s power generation industry, including gas, hydro & coal-fired power stations and coal mines. We welcome all permanent employees and contractors who are eligible to join our union.
What we do
Members can access expert legal advice and assistance, including workers compensation, superannuation, retrenchment, unfair dismissal and more. Our Union plays a vital role in developing and enforcing safety regulations and standards in the coal mining and power industry. We are strong advocates for the future of our industries, for a just transition for energy workers and for a vibrant economic future for the Latrobe Valley.
